I am that girl who will tell ANYONE they look bomb as hell that day. I’m not shy about giving someone a compliment. I’m actually borderline creepy with my compliments if were being honest. But why is this a bad thing?
It can make someone’s entire day just by giving them a compliment.
“Hey girl, yo brows are on fleek today”
“Those jeans make yo booty look big, yaaas”
“Make up is flawless AF”
“Your lit with that outfit, i c u gurrl”
Sometimes I will talk to my friends and they will say how good someone looked that night, or how much they loved their outfit, or hair, etc. Why not tell the person? I just never understood why people refrain from compliments. I never have a issue with giving credit where it’s due.
It is so important, especially as women, to lift each other up as much as possible. If I can say anything to make someone feel better about themselves, even if for a moment, I take this opportunity.
We all know how it feels to not feel confident on certain days, feel insecure about how you look, or what your wearing. Would you want someone to keep a compliment from you? Uh no! So don’t keep it from anyone else.
Spread love and positivity, usually you will receive a compliment back, but most importantly it will make you feel good that you made someone else’s day! I dare you to try it. Let’s all please try to normalize compliments.
