So since summer is upon us (thank god), I wanted to put together some goals, to “Spring Clean My Life”. I’m not sure that even make sense but I want some goals to start the summer off fresh and new and I just had to share it with you guys so hopefully I’ll actually stick to them!
Okay you guys this has been something that I have been struggling with for a long time now. Growing up I was always very active. I played tennis, danced, cheered, etc. and now that I’m working I’m literally sitting at a desk 8 hours a day and I don’t move and it’s really taking a toll on my body. I just feel like I’m so lazy and I never move and my body is just starting to hurt and not feel as good! So I really want to have an actual fitness routine and actually stick to it. I get so lazy and just fall off track for like a whole month without working out. I really want to take care of my body and just move as much as I can. I even asked for suggestions on Facebook about fun dance workout classes I can take, and plan to get back into tennis with a coworker at work. This is my number one goal!! I need to be active!!
Anyone who knows me knows that I have been on my spiritual journey, if you will, for a little over two years now. But sometimes it’s just so hard to stay in alignment and be a positive person. I’m going to make even more of an effort to be positive and just feel good feelings. Life is supposed to be a fun and a good experience and I want to be a happier, nicer, better person and not engage in so much negative activity and conversation!
I’m trying to get my wardrobe together to slay this summer! I love dressing up and I’m trying to get more pieces in my collection to really reflect my summer style. Sometimes I get lazy and just throw on the same clothes but I have so many clothes that I barely wear and I really just want to think out of the box a little bit more with my wardrobe and clothing as much as I can. I want to take more risks with what I wear and just start dressing up more of the way I want to.
4. PASSION PURSUITS
I’ve actually done a pretty good job this year about really thinking out of the box and pursuing my passions. I’m still trying to blog on a more consistent basis & I am also getting involved with things like public speaking, acting classes, self help workshops, and anything that seems fun to me. I wanted to do more of what interests me and getting out there and taking advantage of all the classes and resources my city has to offer. It’s all about learning and growth! I want to have his many hobbies as possible.
I can sometimes be very lazy, especially now that I’m a working woman. I come home from work and just veg out on the couch all night (going back to why I need fitness LOL) I want to do better at getting shit done that needs to be done. I am a master procrastinator and I want to be more productive in my everyday, because I could be doing so much more to enhance and better my life!
Meditation of something I’ve been wanting to really get into for a long time and whenever I try to do it – it’s always just very hard for me. Meditation is all about quieting your mind, and I’m definitely someone who over thinks and just has a lot of stuff going on in my head all the time. I really want to get back into it because there are so many benefits to meditation and I think it would really help me in the long run. My goal is to start meditating for at least 10 minutes a day.
7. SELF LOVE
My goal of practicing self-love basically ties in everything I said before. I really just want to treat myself better and take action to live the best life possible and do what’s best for me. I want to take care of myself, love myself completely and enhance further enhance my confidence level because I’m worth it!
